Terms you can read in ten minutes

We wrote these terms to be read in ten minutes. The figures are the same as on the pricing page, and nothing is hidden in the small print. If anything is unclear, ask before you pay. It is cheaper for both of us.

1. Who the agreement is between

Stancein is a brand of Talent Attract Agency ApS ("Stancein", "we"). These terms apply to all services you buy on stancein.com or in the Stancein platform: engagements in The Power Move (Signal, Retainer, Mandate and Mandate Zero), LinkedIn profile optimisation, thought leadership and Stancein Audit. If you buy as a private individual, you are a consumer and consumer legislation applies alongside these terms. If your company buys the service for you, the company is the contracting party.

Partnerships with executive search firms, HR departments, boards and investors are governed by a separate partnership agreement, not by these terms.

2. The services

What each engagement includes, and what it does not, is set out on the pricing page and the individual service pages. Common to everything we do: AI builds the first draft, a human approves it before it is used. We work for you and never take a mandate from the hiring company in the same process.

3. Free onboarding and 7-day trial

• You create a profile and complete the entire onboarding for free, with no time limit and no payment card.
• When you are ready to receive matches, you choose Signal, accept these terms and register your card. Only then do the 7 free days start. DKK 0 is charged during the trial, and you can cancel at any time during the trial under Settings. We remind you 2 days before the trial ends.
• If you do not cancel, you continue automatically on Signal at DKK 299/month + VAT on the ordinary terms, including 90 days' notice.
• The trial is part of your engagement period. We register which roles we present you for, and if you are appointed to one of them, Signal's succession fee (section 6) applies, even if you cancelled during the trial.
• The trial can be used once per person. Retainer and Mandate have no trial period. If you apply for Mandate Zero, you get a 7-day free trial with no payment and no card while we assess the application.

4. Prices and payment

• All prices are in Danish kroner and exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. For consumers the price is also shown inclusive of VAT at checkout.
• Signal (DKK 299/month) is paid monthly in advance after the trial period. Retainer is paid as DKK 1,500/month for nine months or upfront with DKK 9,500, which saves DKK 4,000. Mandate (DKK 4,800) is paid once at the start. Mandate Zero has no start-up payment and requires admission. You apply with your LinkedIn profile, and admission requires a profile score of 80+, a base salary of at least DKK 80,000/month and our judgement.
• Payment is by card through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. If a payment is declined, we send a reminder and may pause access until payment is made.
• The succession fee is invoiced as 100-day Executive Onboarding, see section 6, with 14 days' payment terms.

5. Term, commitment and cancellation

• Signal: rolling subscription with 90 days' notice to the end of a month.
• Retainer: fixed nine-month programme, binding for the first six months, thereafter 90 days' notice. If you pay in instalments, the instalments continue through the binding period even if you give notice.
• Mandate and Mandate Zero: no subscription and no commitment.
• Notice is sent to hej@stancein.com. You receive a confirmation with the end date.
• The notice period is long because executive processes run over months, and because we have made commitments to the companies and search firms that have you in play. Ongoing processes are completed properly during the notice period.

6. Succession fee

The succession fee is payment for what the model is built for: your next move succeeding. It falls due when you sign an employment contract or equivalent agreement for a role you came into play for during your engagement period.

• Amount: DKK 50,000 + VAT on Signal. DKK 37,500 + VAT on Retainer. 4% of the first year's total compensation package (base salary, pension, expected bonus, car and equity/warrants), at least DKK 50,000 + VAT, on Mandate. 6% of the first year's total compensation package, at least DKK 65,000 + VAT, on Mandate Zero. If you switch products along the way, the new product's fee applies to roles that come into play after the switch.
• Roles that count: On Signal, roles Stancein presents you for. On Retainer, every role you come into play for while the engagement runs, whether presented by us or opened through your own channels. The reasoning: your agent, your material, your positioning and your signals work for you in every process. On Mandate and Mandate Zero, roles Stancein presents you for, and roles you find yourself and ask us to take on, once we have said yes.
• Offers made before the new product names: If you received an offer for Premium or Premium+, you can still buy it. Premium+ corresponds to Retainer, with the same price and fee. A Premium offer keeps its fee: DKK 50,000 + VAT fixed, only on roles where, by agreement, we act as your agent. Existing subscriptions continue on the terms you accepted.
• Exceptions: roles you were demonstrably in play for before the engagement started. These are registered at onboarding. And roles you first start applying for or come into play for after the engagement and the tail period have ended.
• Tail period: 90 days after the engagement ends. The fee applies to roles you were in play for at the end, and roles you come into play for during the period itself.
• Interim roles: 1/12 of the fee per agreed month. If the agreement is extended, the extra months are paid for. If it becomes a permanent position, the difference up to the full fee is paid. You never pay more than the full fee for the same role.
• Invoicing: The fee is invoiced as 100-day Executive Onboarding. On Signal and Retainer the full amount is invoiced when you start the new job. On Mandate and Mandate Zero 50% is invoiced when you start and 50% after the first 100 days.
• Payment: 14 days from the invoice date. The fee is not conditional on passing a probation period, but if the company ends the employment within the first three months for reasons not attributable to you, we will discuss a reasonable solution.

7. Right of withdrawal for consumers

If you buy as a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the conclusion of the agreement. When you pay, you simultaneously request that the service begins immediately, because platform access is opened and the work starts. If you withdraw within the 14 days, you therefore pay a proportionate share of the price for the period and the work delivered. If the service has been fully delivered within the period, for example a completed LinkedIn analysis, the right of withdrawal has lapsed. Withdrawal is notified to hej@stancein.com.

8. Your part

The model only works if we work on accurate information. You undertake to give us a true basis (resume, roles, expectations), to register the processes you are already in at onboarding, and to inform us when you come into play for a role and when you sign a contract. If we discover that an appointment has been concealed to avoid the succession fee, the fee falls due immediately, with interest under the Danish Interest Act.

9. Confidentiality

We treat everything you entrust to us as confidential. We never present you to a company or a search firm without your prior approval, and we never contact your current employer without your instruction. In return we ask you to treat the information you receive about roles, companies and processes through us as confidential. How we process personal data is set out in our privacy policy.

10. Material, AI and ownership

Resume, bio, pitch, LinkedIn texts and other material we build for you are yours once paid for. First drafts are generated with AI on your basis and reviewed by a human, but you are responsible for ensuring that the factual information about you is correct before the material is used. The platform, the method, the analysis tools and our own texts on the site belong to Stancein and may not be copied or passed on to third parties.

11. No guarantee of outcome

We promise a method, an effort and access. We cannot promise an appointment. How quickly, and whether, a move succeeds depends on the market, your profile and your own effort. The subscription payment is payment for platform, material and market work, regardless of outcome.

12. Liability

Stancein is not liable for indirect loss, including lost income or lost opportunities, and our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the preceding 12 months. The limitation does not apply where it cannot be derogated from under mandatory law, including consumer legislation. We are not liable for third-party decisions, for example a company's choice of candidate or LinkedIn's changes to its platform.

13. Changes to the terms

We may change these terms with 30 days' notice by e-mail. Changes to price or succession fee do not apply to roles you are already in play for. If you disagree with a change, you may terminate with effect from the date the change takes effect without waiting out the ordinary notice period.

14. Governing law and disputes

The agreement is governed by Danish law. If you are a consumer, you may complain to the Centre for Complaint Resolution and the Consumer Complaints Board under Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark, naevneneshus.dk, if the complaint meets the conditions. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it is decided by the Danish courts.
